Oh That Yucky Feeling...again

When you live in Cleveland, you are used to this feeling. Sports fans who read this will know the feeling I am talking about, (in Cleveland or not.) Non-sports fans may think I am crazy.

The only good thing from this is that we can finally get some sleep around here. Games starting at 8:30 and not ending until 12:30 a.m. are taking the life out of me. So that's the good news. Oh, and of course, like we always say here, THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR. That should be Cleveland's tag line.

My last post I wrote about how everyone is so happy and lovin' life. I guarantee when I go out today people are going to be crabby patties and moping all around. Come on peeps...there is always next year.
Did I mention we had tickets to game 2 of the WORLD SERIES?

Life goes on. The Buckeye's won on Saturday though. I didn't get to see any of the game. I was at my friends baby shower having a good time. Then I got so stinkin' sick to my stomach and my head was throbbing. I had to call Bob and have him pick me up (waking Denny from a nap). I came home and rolled up on the couch with a book then fell asleep.

Sunday we went to a Pumpkin patch place that had face painting, corn mazes, hay rides...all that jazz. I took lots of pics but they are on my other camera that I need to develop the film. What do you call those? Sunday night before the game we carved them. Grace has a princess pumpkin, Bob and I have Chief Wahoo and Denny's is a mix of scary/funny, which fits him perfectly. Bob kicked butt with the carving this year.
That's all I have. I'm off with the kids to get some stuff done and enjoy the last obnoxiously warm day.
There's always next year.

I was rooting for the Tribe right along w/ya. Although, I have a problem watching the game when it is somewhat close. So last night I turned it off when they were in the top of the 8th. I couldn't watch, especially if they lost. Bummer! But like you said, there's always next year!

I'm not sure what I was looking forward to more, them winning or the possibility of you streaking.
My schedule is nutty until almost T-day, but weather permitting perhaps a Cleveland trip could be coming soon. Let me know your schedule and thoughts.

The games have been super exciting this past week. I'm sorry for you loss, but now both of our teams are out. Sounds like you had a great weekend!
