HEAVY HEARTS~

It's weird to write when there has been so much going on.
More than anything, we are all still mourning the deaths of Sam and Marco.
We have been consumed with so much sadness and overwhelming emotions. There was such an out pouring of support from the community and beyond. These two kids were loved by so many and will be missed forever.

If you would like to leave a message for the family, the link below will take you to Sam's guest book.

In between all the sadness, we had a wedding for two of our best friends, Judi and Scott. We went to an Indians game with Pete and Becki. We spent some time with Eric and Danni. This was all within a week. So as our hearts were heavy, we try to get back to normal.

In the next few days I will post some pictures from the wedding and family time.

Hi Peeps. Long time no see. I am one sick Momma right now, so instead of trying to write anything worth reading, I will post some pics from Memorial day weekend. It consisted of the Kenny Chesney concert (we got up to the front row!!!!!), cooking out with the family, and Judi's wonderful wedding shower. It was one of the best weekends in a long time, a great kick off to the summer! Hope everyone is doing well and I will be back soon!tailgateing before the concert

TOGETHER WE REQUEST THE HONOR OF YOUR PRESENSE

I was at Target the other day without the kids. When I shop without children, I like to take time and browse the greeting cards. I don't know if you have ever tried looking at cards with kids in tow, but it is always a disaster.
While I was checking out some cards, there was a woman next to me who was bitching to her friend that she has 2 weddings coming up this summer. The girl (who looked about my age) was bitching and moaning about how much she hates attending weddings. I spent 15 minutes fake reading cards just so I could listen to her rant. Now this isn't the first time I have heard someone hate on weddings.
I don't know about you, but I love going to weddings/receptions. We have 4 this Summer and I am totally looking forward to them. I understand they can get expensive, but so is any night out. I look at a wedding as a big as party to celebrate love. It's a time to see old friends, get dressed up, drink way too much and dance. Weddings are the only time my hubby gets on the dance floor. Almost every wedding we've been too, the night ends with doing the worm and gator. What could be better than that my friends?
