THEY GET THEIR MOVES FROM THEIR FATHER~

During our nightly bowling game last night, I set up the computer hoping to capture one of Denny's strikes.  Of course that never seems to work.  As soon as G&D see they are being taped, things get a little goofy.  The first 10 seconds of this video I love, then it gets annoying with me telling D to bowl & Grace screaming.  I need to figure out how to work the i-movie function on my mac.  And hopefully within the next couple of days I will get one of Denny's strike celebrations on video b/c it is priceless.  Until then, enjoy~

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOYS & GIRLS~

This pretty much sums it up.
Denny the wild man and Grace as careful as can be.
Sorry I had to link to you tube, but blogger wouldn't upload it.

TURN THE VOLUME DOWN BEFORE U WATCH~

This was not staged.
The kids heard me yelling "Obama" after he won Ohio.  Then G&D started doing it so I turned the macbook camera on.   The only thing we asked was for them to yell it a bit louder b/c we weren't sure if it was captured.

SAY WHAT??

Last night Grace and I got into a little argument. She was doing something she wasn't supposed to be, and I told her to stop. She wasn't listening to me, so I repeated myself a couple of times a bit louder. Then, she comes up to me and puts her hand in my face and says, "talk to the hand." Using everything in me to suppress my laughter, I calmly asked her where she learned that. She said, Grandma. I said, which Grandma. She said, "Grandma Debbie." Oops, busted out Grandma. And I have evidence. After the original "incident," I pulled out the video camera and here's what we have:

Jumpin' Denny K

Another video for you all, since I am camera-less. Plus, well, this is cute. My boy trying to get some air. Please ignore Grace's crying/screaming/whining in the back round. She did not break a bone or lose an eye, she was upset b/c I was taping someone other than her.

Saturday was a full day, a fun day. We managed to make it to 4 places AND lunch with Grace and Denny. We are usually lucky if we can make it into 2 stores before they start acting like loonies. Today they were in great moods, as was I and Bobby. So it was a good day.
We also went to Katie's 8th birthday party. Sugar consumption off the charts, 40 hyper kids in a room, and my head was ready to explode. Wow. But Grace and Denny had sooooo much fun, and that's what is important. I can take some Advil.

I am so happy to have discovered Josh Radin. Thanks to Georgia at Creative Musings (
http://justdandily.blogspot.com/ ) who recommended him to me a couple months back. His music is mellow, but that fits my mood these days. His voice is soothing and his lyrics are so true, so beautiful. Some of my faves are "The One You Knew" and "Winter." I made a CD for Tracy with a couple of his songs, and she is loving it also. So thank you Georgia for this!

Saturday night I spent lots of time scanning pictures. So be prepared this week to see some pics from my college days, Watertown, Bob in Bosnia, and lots of other goodies.

Punk Rock

Don't feel much like writing, but here is the punk rock version of Grace's "Twinkle Twinkle." Happy hump day!

Twinkle, Twinkle

For your viewing pleasure, I uploaded this video of Gracie singing "Twinkle, Twinkle." I hope you love it as much as we do.
Tomorrow I look forward to sharing with you her punk rock version of the song. And yes, her "microphone" is indeed a toilet paper roll holder.

Her ending always melt my heart..."Thank you my show," with a bow. 2 feet of sweetness.
