Bachelor Party

The Bachelor is a cheesy show. It may be the cheesiest one around. But I will admit, I love the drama. The girls get so catty and dramatic, it's like a train wreck. I can't look away. So another season started on Monday night. 2 full hours of watching 25 women get drunk, act like fools, and try to woo Prince Lorenzo (who by the way is a tool.)
Now to the best part. My friend Tracy and her sister Lynn have been holding "bachelor parties" since the show started many years ago. I got in for the first time last year, and this year I'm in again. Every Monday night a group of us girls get together at someone's house (we switch every week) and watch the show. We drink wine, eat apps, and tear the show apart. AND, at the beginning of the season, everyone picks 2 girls from a hat, and that is the girl/s you have to root for. If she is the one who gets the final rose at the end of the season, you win some cash.
So here are my girls: Agnes is the brunteete and Lisa is the blonde. I had to throw in a picture of Prince Lorenzo, just to add to the cheese factor.

Bob called me last night from Detroit and shared the wonderful news that he is coming home tonight, rather than Thursday night. I am sooooo happy. 24 hours is a LONG time when you have a 1 and 2-year-old running around all day. But Tuesday they were so good for me all day, and we had a lot of fun. Oh, one bad thing on tuesday, I got pulled over by the po-po. He said I ran a red light. The light just turned red, if I would have tried to stop, my groceries would have been all over the place. Luckily, he was nice and let me go, saving me a $100 ticket. Thank you sir!!!

Today is a different story. We're having a rough one in the Keeler home, I think they both miss their Daddy. They are napping for me now, and as soon as they wake, we are heading to the store for some Pumpkin Spice coffee, my absolute favorite flavor. It's only out in October & November, so I have to consume lots of it to hold me over for the other 10 months.

So here's the hump day proverbial saying on Basic Truths:

Wherever you go, you can't get rid of yourself ~ Polish

All the treasures of the earth can't bring back one lost moment ~ French

The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected ~ Swedish
