Halloween Preview

Saturday evening in the leaves

Saturday our city held a Halloween party for the kids. We got Grace and Denny all dressed up in their costumes, and our neighbors joined us with their little guy. I thought it was from 12-3, so we arrived at 1:45, only to find that it ended at 2. I felt so awful, but once we got inside, we realized 15 minutes would be enough time. All they had was a bunch of tables set up from different companies, and you go and grab candy. That was it, but still fun stuff for G&D. We planned on going to Boo at the Zoo, but we read in the paper that it was sold out.

Saturday was so beautiful out, so after G&D napped, we went outside and played in the leaves. Saturday night, Bob and I chilled out and watched a couple movies. We stumbled upon the movie "Sleepers," and it was awesome. Robert Dinero, Dustin Hoffman, Brad Pitt, and a few other great actors were in it. It's from 96, so if you haven't seen it yet, check it out (although it is sometimes hard to watch.)

Today is cold and rainy, so we are hanging inside, watching football. Timmy, Joey and Kelly are coming over in a little to watch the Browns. That's about it. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I love the kids costumes. I can't wait for next year when Seth is just that much older to enjoy these types of holiday activities. Thanks for the recipe, I'm going to try it soon! I love having appetizer nights!
