Baskets Of Love

Tuesday evening I went over to Tracy's sister's house to start putting together baskets of goodies for the fund raiser. We collected lots of great stuff, and decided instead of raffling each item off individually, we would put together "theme" baskets. We have "beauty baskets" filled with massages, manicures, pedicures and hair cuts. There is a "date night" basket that has a limo ride, dinner at a 5 star restaurant and great wine. We have a "Cleveland" basket that holds tickets to the zoo & rain forest, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Playhouse Square & the Goodtime III. This is just to name a few. There is so much stuff! People were truly generous with all the donations

I think I failed to mention that last week I bought my tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert. The show is at Browns Stadium and isn't until July. But he is only doing 7 shows this summer, and he's doing one here. So I will be there with bells on baby. It's an all day event with 4 other acts and is going to be the party of the summer. Tracy is going and so is my sis Becky and Pete and Chris, and who knows who else. Becky and I joined the Kenny Chesney fan club (go ahead, rip away) so we could get tickets before they go on sale to the public. It was only $25 to join and is worth it b/c the show is going to sell out fast.

In other news, G&D are doing good. They are surviving the cold and dealing with the cabin fever. Getting along half the day and ripping each others hair out the other half. You know, the normal brother sister stuff. I get tired just watching them some days. They never stop moving, never stop playing. If only I had that same energy, life would be good.

Denny looks like he is outgrowing Grace! That's ok, he will want to look out for her in the future anyhow!

I think that this benefit you are throwing is so wonderful. I wish you all the best of luck with it. Your friend is so lucky to have you!
