STALKER ALERT

Some days are "stalkier" than others, but the last couple of days, my kids won't leave me alone.
In a house full of toys, games, books, crayons, paint & everything else under the sun, what in the world is so interesting about me?
I am tripping over G&D at every turn. They are following me around the house like lost puppies. I need a little space, please. Sorry for TMI, but I can't even go to the bathroom without both of them there with me. Guess it's all part of this parenting gig :)

So I've had these killer intense headaches the past few days. I've been trying to figure out what is causing them, and I think I may know: Coffee from the green can. Yes, DECAF. I am trying to limit my caffeine intake b/c every time I have some, I fear a panic attack will come knocking on my door. So in the mornings, I have been brewing this crap. A lot of you know I am a coffee (REAL COFFEE) junkie. I could drink a pot of it in the morning. It tastes so delicious and gets me going, keeps me going, through the long day. So now I am on this decaf stuff, and that is why my head is killing me. Caffeine withdraws. I actually remember these same headaches now that I think back to when I was prego and tried to limit my caffeine. It wasn't so bad back then because these little monkeys were still in my belly, so I didn't need much energy. Now I need it. I need it bad, especially this time a year when we don't get to enjoy the great outdoors. Spring is on it's way though, and maybe by then I will be adjusted to life w/out java. If I can sit outside with a cup of decaf, maybe it won't be so bad.

I know how you feel, Seth has been following me around the house constantly, but crying. We found out last night that he has another ear infection so that might be part of the problem. But, you have double so I feel your pain.

I also think I'm addicted to caffeine as well. My poison is Dr. Pepper fountain soda though and not coffee. It all does the same thing though. Good luck with the withdrawl process. I hope your head start to feel better.

Also, do you ever head this way and visit Jen and Pete? We should all plan a get together this summer somewhere for a weekend. Think about it!

Ouch! Sorry about your withdrawl, that's rough. Do you like tea? That could be a good alternative with less caffine.
I'm a firm believer that all parents should be issued a certain number of valium tablets over the course of 18 years. To help deal with situations such as yours. I would probably have run out by now though. Take care of yourself!

My hubby has been getting the caffeine withdrawls bad too. He is trying to convert to being a completely no Soda person but it's hard for him. He's more addicted that most guys i think. He swears he can only take Excedrin pain killers because only Excedrin can make the headache go away. They have a heck of a lot of caffeine in them to boost the pain reliever.

Your Double trouble stalkers sound a handful but I bet they mean well.
It's hard to get cabin fever at the same time as your caffeine is taken away.

I have gone the no caffine route and it didn't work for me. Good luck to you. Maybe I will try again when the kids are like, in their 20's! No sugar, fine. But, I GOTS to get my caffine kick!! Are you getting any warmer up north? Man, the older I get the suckier winter gets. Have a great weekend.
