Saturday Lights & Sunday Showers

Grace at Maggie's baby shower

Bobby putting up X-mas lights
I'm skipping out on today's Self Portrait Challenge. I'm on no sleep and no matter how hard I search, I can't find one glamorous thing. But for sure I will get back to it next week.
We had a nice weekend here at the Keeler's. The weather was gorgeous, so we spent alot of time outside. Saturday we put up our Christmas lights. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted lights on the house for the holidays. That never happened, but 20+ years later, I have lights! Thanks to my super hubby.

My cousin Maggie is expecting her first baby in January. Sunday was her shower, so me, the kids and my mom went for the festivities. We had a blast and the glow on Maggie's face was so beautiful. I can't wait to meet the new little girl and welcome her into our family. They are still unsure on the name for the baby, but hey, they still have some time. It is a big decision.

Grace doing her part

Monday evening we all went over to Tracy's. Bob did lots of "man" work around the house for her while I watched & played with all the kiddies running around. Many of you have asked how she is doing, and all I can say is she's doing. She's taking each day minute by minute. Keep the prayers coming.

Grace's turn to help Mag's open a present

I know I have more to share, but I'm having a brain fart at the moment. Before I sign out though, another good friend of mine from college has gotten in on the bloggie goodness, so check out her page, The Carson Crew http://www.thecarsoncrew.blogspot.com/

I have to admit, I can't stop thinking about Tracy. I have some girl clothes that Maggie has finally grown out of, if she wants. Mags is on the smaller side so she's just now growing out of 12 & 18 mth clothes. The offer is there if she's interested. Much love!

Please know that your friend is in our prayers and keep us updated. I feel so much for her it is hard to explain. I'm sure that she is so grateful for you wonderful friends. I also love that you love Christmas now because you were so anti- when you lived here!

I agree with Mollie; I find myself thinking of Tracey often. I feel such sadness for her and their kids. I know I should appreciate Tom all the time, but I have found myself appreciating him more, and cherishing everyday that we have. She and her family are in my prayers and will remain so.
