Weekend Wrap

Grace & Bob @ Applebee's on Friday night

So the weekend is winding down and it was another good one. Despite many, many nicotine fits, we had a lot of fun.

Friday we went to dinner at Applebees then hit BB for some movies. Grace rented her first movie, "The Little Mermaid". Bob and I rented "Click," "An American Haunting," "Stay Alive," and I can't remember the last one. I know, lots of movies, but that's how we envisioned the weekend. Movies and relaxing. Friday we watched "Stay Alive" then went next door and had a few beers with our neighbors.

Me & Heavy D @ Applebee's

Saturday we all woke up early and did some shopping. We already got some X-mas decorations for the yard. We are putting up lights this year and I think I'm more excited than anyone. I always loved X-mas lights but never had them on my house. So this will be a first and I'm super psyched. We also spent a lot of time outside on Saturday, which completely wore G&D out. They both were in bed early Saturday night, which allowed Bob & I time to watch more movies. I love weekends like this, where there are no commitments, and you don't even have to leave the house if you don't want to .

Today has been another low-key day. I really didn't leave the house today. We are just hanging out, watching football. It has been 1 week today since Bob and I smoked! For some reason, it's getting harder for me, rather than easier. But I'm not giving in to temptation.

I seem to remember a certain someone who didn't even celebrate Christmas. No decorations, no nothing! I think I even bought you your first ornament. My my how you have changed. Those kids have brought out the very best in you!
